A gorgeous Jennifer Hudson lit up the red carpet at the 83rd Annual Academy Awards in a flowing tangerine-orange Versace gown and purple heels. “When I first tried on my dress, it was like two, three nights ago, and I’m like, ‘I don’t want to sleep. I don’t want to take it off,’” an excited J-Hud told Ryan Seacrest.

The Oscar winner presented the award for Best Original Song to Randy Newman for Toy Story 3. She could find herself at the awards again next year after her Winnie Mandela biopic arrives in theaters in September.

The hottest ticket in town on Sunday was Vanity Fair‘s annual Oscar party hosted by editor Graydon Carter. Everyone from Amber Rose (minus Yeezy) to Common to Tom Hanks clamored to get into the glamorous affair held at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood following the Academy Awards.

Inside, Lenny Kravitz met Olympic gold medalist Shaun White, Jamie Foxx introduced his date Stacey Dash to Robert Downey Jr., Jennifer Lopez chatted up Jessica Simpson, and Russell Simmons ran into figure skater Evan Lysacek.

The actor attended Elton John’s 18th annual Oscar after-party benefitting his AIDS Foundation at West Hollywood’s Pacific Design Center on Sunday (March 7), along with a new piece of arm candy, Clueless actress Stacey Dash.

Jennifer Hudson, will.i.am, Kimora Lee Simmons, and Serena Williams partied the night away with Sir Elton, while Grace Jones performed.

The stars were glowing as Hollywood celebrated its biggest night of the year. The winning couples of Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon and Robin Thicke and Paula Patton, both supporting Best Picture nominee Precious, were among the celebrities who graced the red carpet at the 82nd Annual Academy Awards at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday (March 7).

Precious took home two awards for Best Supporting Actress and Best Adapted Screenplay. Winner Mo’Nique told Ryan Seacrest that she was just as honored for her Oscar nod as when she did Soul Plane and “Showtime at the Apollo.”
