Celebrity Halloween Costumes 2011

Kanye West

Even though Halloween fell on a Monday this year, that didn’t stop the stars from getting wild and crazy with their costumes. Some opted for cute (Fergie), others preferred scary (Keyshia Cole), and a few aimed for the laughs (Teyana Taylor).

Kanye West, who had the night off from touring with Jay-Z, was “Bad” like his idol Michael Jackson in a Jheri curl wig and varsity jacket, while hosting a party with supermodel Anja Rubik in New York City.

Chris Brown caused a stir on Twitter after revealing a little too much in his green alien bodysuit. Bruno Mars took it back to the ’80s as leader of his hair band Chrome Nipple. Tyler, the Creator slapped on some suspenders and face makeup and went as a skinhead.

The sweet Leona Lewis killed as a gory prom queen, Monica showed her good and evil sides as a nun and skeleton, and Keyshia Cole and her husband Daniel Gibson scared off the trick-or-treaters with their frightful fashions.

The award for most random costume goes to Teyana Taylor, who dressed as the white guy Bob from marketing on “Martin.” Fergie hammed it up as a child pageant queen from “Toddlers & Tiaras,” Amber Rose rocked out as Slash, Keri Hilson made a last minute costume play as a basketball player, Nina Sky paid tribute to Milli Vanilli, and Estelle and Melanie Fiona hit up the town as Diana Ross and Carmen Miranda.

Pumpkin Carving Contest Winners 2011

Michael Jackson

For our third annual pumpkin carving contest, we asked you to mix hip-hop and Halloween and you didn’t disappoint. Our inbox was filled with some awesome carvings of Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Kanye West, and Jay-Z. But we had to whittle it down to three jack-o’-lanterns that stood out from the pack.

Mandy sent chills down our spine with her thrilling carving of Michael Jackson as a zombie from his iconic “Thriller” video. Her attention to detail and technique won her first place and a Sony Bloggie 3D camera. Congrats!

Check out second and third place and some honorable mentions below.

Meet the Littlest Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj

Baby Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj

Young Money just got even younger. These two youngsters get our vote for best Halloween costumes as miniature versions of Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj. The little boy went as Weezy from the VMAs, complete with leopard jeggings, long dreads, red Converse sneakers, shades, and drawn-in tattoos. And his counterpart made an adorable Nicki Minaj, rocking a purple wig, Barbie chain, fly boots, and a doll. They’re so cute, we just want to take them home.
