Jay-Z and LeBron James joined forces to give back to the local community by unveiling a renovated gym at the Los Angeles Boys & Girls Club as part of their annual Two Kings charity event sparked by Sprite. The superstars posed for photos and got a first look at a graffitied mural designed by renowned tattoo artist Mister Cartoon. Beyoncé was on hand to check out the new space and listen as her hubby and LeBron shared encouraging words with the youth.
“We’re very honored to be here,” Jay told the youngsters during NBA All-Star Weekend. “We see ourselves in your eyes and we’re very happy to be here to let you guys know that if you stay focused and you follow your dream, you stay in school, that you can definitely make it in life.”
In between performing at Snoop Dogg’s party and hosting his own event during NBA All-Star Weekend, Chris Brown still found time to visit with the local youth at the iHoops event in Los Angeles on Sunday (Feb. 20). The 21-year-old singer signed autographs for kids at the Boys & Girls Club of L.A. and taught them some basketball moves. A blonde-haired Nicki held court in the balcony as Weezy smoked his cigar and drank juice from a bottle of smartwater. Cash Money’s DJ Khaled entertained the crowd and the beautiful Ameriie was seen flashing her engagement ring on the red carpet.
One week after the Grammys, the stars once again packed the Staples Center in downtown L.A. for the 2011 NBA All-Star Game on Sunday (Feb. 20). There was no shortage of star power, with a who’s who of entertainment’s biggest names seated courtside to watch the NBA’s East and West divisions face off.

Birthday girl Rihanna, who turns 23 today, provided the halftime entertainment at Sunday’s NBA All-Star Game at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Keri Hilson and Bruno Mars kicked off the NBA All-Star Pre-Game festivities outside of L.A.’s Staples Center on Sunday (Feb. 20). Miss Keri showed off her toned abs while performing her hits “Pretty Girl Rock” and “Knock You Down” on the outdoor stage, throwing in a plug for the East team at the end.

Chris Brown captivated partygoers during NBA All-Star Weekend by performing his hits at adidas and Snoop Dogg’s party at The Standard Hotel in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday (Feb. 19). Breezy, dressed in a leather jacket, white bow tie, and L.A. Kings hat, danced to “Yeah 3X” and brought Busta Rhymes to the stage for “Look at Me Now,” both singles off his forthcoming album F.A.M.E.
