Drake and Wale Honored at GQ ‘Men of the Year’ Party

“The gangster persona is finally dead,” declares GQ. The magazine honored “Gangsta Killers of the Year” Drake, Wale, and Kid Cudi at their “Men of the Year” party at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood on Wednesday (Nov. 18). Other honorees included President Obama, Kobe Bryant, and Clint Eastwood.

Drake attended with his Young Money labelmate Nicki Minaj, who hollered at 79-year-old Clint Eastwood. “Just hollerred @ clint eastwood. What a sexy old man…I was like wudup son, its barbie bitch,” she tweeted.

MOCA NEW 30th Anniversary Gala

The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (MOCA) commissioned Lady Gaga and dancers from the Bolshoi Ballet for a one-night-only performance to celebrate the museum’s 30th anniversary and the opening of the exhibition Collection: MOCA’s First Thirty Years.

Creative minds from the worlds of art and entertainment, including Ciara, Pharrell, Gwen Stefani, and John Legend, rubbed elbows at Saturday’s chic event in L.A., ushering in the beginning of a new era for MOCA.

Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz declared the occasion “Michael Jackson Memorial Day.”
