Chris Brown crawls across the desert and the city to reach his love interest, played by Cassie, in the video for “Crawl,” directed by Joseph Kahn (“I Can Transform Ya”). The second single from December 15th’s Graffiti was co-written by Brown and produced by Adam Messinger and Nasri Atweh.
“It’s probably his most personal thing he’s ever done,” Kahn told MTV News of the video. “I mean, everything that’s happened to him in the year, I think this is going to be his big statement, in terms of what he’s feeling and what he’s living through right now.”

Ludacris plays LeToya Luckett’s new man in the video for “Regret,” the third single off her sophomore album Lady Love. The video was shot in Los Angeles and directed by Parris (The-Dream, Ludacris, Swizz Beatz). You may recognize the ex-boyfriend as the same model who played LeToya’s love interest in the “She Ain’t Got…” video.

Although the Tom Petty-sampled song debuted at No. 40 on the Billboard Hot 100, Rap-Up.com has learned that Cham’s third studio album Venom has been pushed back from December 8, 2009 to January 26, 2010.

A bespectacled and suited Snoop Dogg and Soulja Boy Tell’em turned their swag on on set of the latter’s video for “Pronto” off DJ Drama’s Gangsta Grillz: Follow Me mixtape. Gucci Mane and Usher stepped into the “Spotlight” to shoot the video for the lead single from the Atlanta rapper’s first major release The State vs. Radric Davis, due December 8. Eddie Murphy’s eldest daughter Bria Murphy plays Gucci’s leading lady in the Benny Boom-directed video, filmed in Gucci’s hometown of ATL. Young Money’s Nicki Minaj makes a cameo.
In addition to Usher, Lil Wayne, Polow Da Don, Drumma Boy, Sean Garrett, Mannie Fresh, Soulja Boy, and OJ Da Juiceman contributed to the album.

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate’s life for Rihanna. RiRi went back to work on Friday (Oct. 16) in New York City to film the highly confidential music video for the first single off her upcoming fourth album, in stores on Super Monday. For her latest look, the fashionista sported an eyepatch, high-heeled boots, and a slicked-back hairstyle.
Rihanna’s official website has posted a countdown to her new single, which will premiere on Tuesday (Oct. 20) at 11:23 a.m. EST, another reference to the album’s 11/23 release date.
