Nicki Minaj, Usher, Chris Brown, & Ariana Grande Perform at iHeartRadio Music Festival

The iHeartRadio Music Festival returned to Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena for two days of the biggest music stars on the planet. Friday’s jam-packed lineup included Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande, Usher, Taylor Swift, Jason Derulo, and Coldplay, with plenty of surprises.

Queen Nicki delivered her biggest hits including “Super Bass,” “Beez in the Trap,” and “Anaconda,” and even spit her verse on Beyoncé’s “Flawless (Remix)” a cappella. She also brought out Ariana Grande for “Bang Bang,” and closed with “Starships.”

Ariana served up a soaring set of her own with “The Way” and “Problem,” as well as new cuts off her No. 1 album My Everything. While her rumored boyfriend Big Sean was backstage, Childish Gambino joined her on stage for “Break Your Heart Right Back.”

Usher lit up the arena with his UR singles “Good Kisser” and “She Came to Give It to You,” and surprised the crowd by bringing out Chris Brown for “New Flame.”

Surprise guest Alicia Keys, whose second child is due in November, showed off her baby bump and blessed the stage with her empowering new anthem “We Are Here.”

Jeremih Takes Flight with J. Cole on New Single ‘Planes’

While “Don’t Tell ‘Em” continues to rise up the charts, Jeremih is readying his next single. The R&B crooner has tapped J. Cole for “Planes.”

The song is set to hit iTunes on Sept. 30 in advance of the Oct. 7 release of his album Late Nights. Earlier this year, he performed “Planes” with Chance the Rapper at a secret show in Chicago.

“I got you in the air / Your body in the air / How it feel up there?” he sings on the bass-heavy track, which he previewed on Instagram.

According to Billboard, Late Nights will also feature Trey Songz, Fabolous, Ty Dolla $ign, Juicy J, Flo Rida, and YG, who appears on “Don’t Tell ‘Em.”

The DJ Mustard-produced hit rises 13-12 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week, his biggest hit since 2009′s “Birthday Sex.”

Omarion Steps Out with Son Megaa

Omarion was all smiles as he stepped out with his one-month-old son Megaa Omari Grandberry on Wednesday night. The protective father covered his baby’s face from the flashing lights of the paparazzi as he exited Katsuya in Hollywood with girlfriend Apryl Jones.

“I love you. thank you for having my legacy,” Omarion told Jones after she gave birth in August. “I’ll forever belong to you & you will forever be tied to me. Creating a child takes no love or skill but being a parent requires lots of both.”

His former B2K bandmate Lil’ Fizz also tagged along. Omarion and Fizz can be seen on VH1′s new series “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood,” which premiered Monday to 2.8 million viewers.

Omarion is also working on his MMG debut Sex Playlist and recently collaborated with Jeremih on Da Internz-produced “Show Me.”

Justin Bieber, Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, & Monica Attend Mayweather vs. Maidana Fight

The stars packed the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas to watch Floyd “Money” Mayweather take on Marcos “El Chino” Maidana for the WBC/WBA welterweight title on Saturday night. Floyd snapped a selfie with his pal Justin Bieber before heading to the ring to claim his victory.

“Love you champ @FloydMayweather,” said the Biebs as Floyd extended his undefeated record to 47-0.

Rick Ross, Jamie Foxx, Will Smith, Kevin Hart and his fiancée Eniko Parrish, and birthday boy 2 Chainz attended Showtime’s VIP pre-fight party, while Monica wowed with her soaring rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

50 Cent praised her performance, tweeting, “Monica sounded so good tonight it didn’t make no sense.”

Alicia Keys Throws ‘Coming to America’ Birthday Bash for Swizz Beatz

Swizz Beatz celebrated his 36th birthday with a party fit for a king. Alicia Keys surprised her husband with an extravagant bash at Capitale NYC on Thursday night.

She brought Africa to the Big Apple, modeling the evening after Eddie Murphy’s 1988 comedy Coming to America.

The star-studded guest list included Diddy, DMX, Busta Rhymes, Naomi Campbell, A$AP Ferg, Carmelo and La La Anthony, and Swizz’ ex-wife Mashonda.

His royal highness took his seat in a throne on stage surrounded by family, while his pregnant wife made a grand entrance in a white gown, walking across the dance floor to the beat of tribal dancers.

“My party was Epic thx to all my fam & Friends for a timeless moment. I’m still in shock,” said Swizz, who is expecting his second child with Alicia in December.

Album Cover: Teyana Taylor – ‘VII’

G.O.O.D. Music’s First Lady Teyana Taylor has unveiled the Sin City-inspired cover art for her debut VII. Originally due October 21, the album will now arrive November 4 via G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam featuring the single “Maybe” with Pusha T and Yo Gotti.

She has also collaborated with Chris Brown (“Do Not Disturb”) and Fabolous (“Broken Hearted Girl”), and debuted some of the new material while on the road with August Alsina.

The 23-year-old was previously signed to Pharrell on Star Trak/Interscope Records, but her album From a Planet Called Harlem was never released.

After parting ways with the label in 2012, she dropped the mixtape The Misunderstanding of Teyana Taylor and signed a deal with Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music.
