Rihanna is back on the prowl in this ferocious new photo used to promote her fourth album Rated R. The colorful picture, a break from her black-and-white imagery of late, was shot by famed photographer Ellen von Unwerth who photographed her album packaging.

Love, peace, and soul, plus Keri Hilson and Monica were in the building at the 2009 Soul Train Awards at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta on Tuesday (Nov. 3).

The revived awards show, hosted by Oscar nominees Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard, featured a duet from Toni Braxton and Trey Songz (“Yesterday”), as well as performances by Keri Hilson, Robin Thicke, Ryan Leslie, Raheem DeVaughn with Ludacris, Chrisette Michele, Mario with Sean Garrett, and more. Henson, Boyz II Men, Chico DeBarge, Johnny Gill, Estelle, Vita, Mike Phillips, and Melanie Fiona staged an all-star tribute to Motown, while Erykah Badu, Melle Mel, Ledisi, Fantasia, and Angie Stone honored the legendary Chaka Khan.

Lady Gaga sat down with BET hosts Terrence and Rocsi when she paid her first visit to “106 & Park” on Tuesday (Nov. 3). Gaga later rocked a look similar to The Fame Monster album cover during her appearance on Fuse TV’s “On the Record.” She is making the rounds to promote her album re-release and upcoming “Monster Ball” tour. We’re having Rihanna sensory overload today. The “Russian Roulette” singer sits down with ABC News anchor Diane Sawyer for her first interview since Chris Brown assaulted her in February. The interview airs Thursday and Friday morning on “Good Morning America” with another part on Friday’s “20/20” at 10 p.m.

According to ABC News, Rihanna will speak about what happened with her ex-boyfriend, growing up in Barbados, her family life, and how she’s been coping over the last nine months.

Armed with a spray can, Chris Brown tags in outer space on the cover of his third album Graffiti, dropping December 15. The partially animated cover blends the pop star’s passions for music, fashion, and art.

Chris Brown crawls across the desert and the city to reach his love interest, played by Cassie, in the video for “Crawl,” directed by Joseph Kahn (“I Can Transform Ya”). The second single from December 15th’s Graffiti was co-written by Brown and produced by Adam Messinger and Nasri Atweh.

“It’s probably his most personal thing he’s ever done,” Kahn told MTV News of the video. “I mean, everything that’s happened to him in the year, I think this is going to be his big statement, in terms of what he’s feeling and what he’s living through right now.”
