Sean “Diddy” Combs turned the big 4-0 with a black-tie celebration at the ritzy Plaza Hotel in New York City on Thursday (Nov. 19). The star-studded event drew the likes of Jay-Z, Bono, Young Jeezy, Nelly, Estelle, Cassie, Rick Ross, Lupe Fiasco, Martha Stewart, and Kim Kardashian. Trey Songz and the legendary Al Green performed for the birthday boy.

It took supermodels in lingerie to bring Jay-Z and Dr. Dre together at the 2009 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show at The Armory in New York City on Thursday (Nov. 19). The Black Eyed Peas performed while Heidi Klum, Chanel Iman, and Selita Ebanks strutted down the runway.

Stars including Fergie, Keri Hilson, Adrienne Bailon, Jay Sean, and Tyrese then migrated to M2 Ultra Lounge for the after-party.

The annual show airs December 1 at 10 p.m. EST on CBS.

Mariah Carey helped spread holiday cheer by turning on the Christmas lights at the Westfield Shopping Centre in London on Thursday (Nov. 19) where she was promoting her fragrance and Memoirs album. “The gangster persona is finally dead,” declares GQ. The magazine honored “Gangsta Killers of the Year” Drake, Wale, and Kid Cudi at their “Men of the Year” party at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood on Wednesday (Nov. 18). Other honorees included President Obama, Kobe Bryant, and Clint Eastwood.

Drake attended with his Young Money labelmate Nicki Minaj, who hollered at 79-year-old Clint Eastwood. “Just hollerred @ clint eastwood. What a sexy old man…I was like wudup son, its barbie bitch,” she tweeted.
