Condé Nast Media Group held their first annual Movies Rock concert tonight at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood. Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige with John Legend, Nicole Scherzinger, Usher, Fergie, Chris Brown, Jennifer Hudson, and more performed their favorite songs from movies. The show airs next Friday, December 7th on CBS. Condé Nast Media Group presented the 4th Annual Black Ball Concert for Keep A Child Alive tonight at Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC. Alicia Keys, Jay-Z, Gwen Stefani, Diddy, and Russell Simmons were among the guests. Bono was one of the honorees and Alicia performed solo and with Gwen Stefani and Sheryl Crow.

Earlier tonight, the Apollo Theater hosted the New York premiere for the highly anticipated film American Gangster. Most of the film’s stars were there including Denzel Washington, Common, and RZA. Jay-Z, Diddy, and Anthony Hamilton also showed up. Unfortunately, one of the film’s stars, T.I., couldn’t be there because of his recent troubles. Free T.I.!

VH1 brought out the biggest names in hip-hop and R&B for “VH1 Hip-Hop Honors,” which taped earlier tonight and airs on Monday. The show features today’s performers honoring hip-hop’s pioneers. Ciara, Eve, Snoop, Nelly, Lupe Fiasco, Ne-Yo, Salt-N-Pepa, LL Cool J, and more were in attendance.

Last week at the premiere of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony’s first feature film I Tried, Layzie Bone seized the opportunity to create another milestone in his life. Layzie arrived at the screening hand in hand with Felicia Howse, mother of his children and girlfriend of 13 years. After taking photos on the red carpet alongside group member Wish Bone, Wish stepped to the side as Layzie had Felicia join him. He got down on one knee and presented her with a 5 karat cushion cut diamond ring as he asked her to take his hand in marriage. Judging from the photos, you can guess what she said.
