A$AP Rocky Stars in ‘SVDDXNLY’ Documentary [Trailer]

From Harlem to Hollywood, A$AP Rocky chronicles his rise to stardom in SVDDXNLY, a feature-length documentary produced and directed by Noisey.

The five-part series, which rolls out starting August 5, gives viewers an in-depth look at the lives and careers of the A$AP Mob leader and his crew through home videos and interviews.

Narrated by Rocky, the film features appearances from his fellow Mob members, plus Drake, Rihanna, Snoop Dogg, Macklemore, Kathy Griffin, Jeremy Scott, Danny Brown, and more.

The soundtrack is comprised of Rocky’s hits and unreleased music from his upcoming instrumental album Beauty & The Beast: Slowed Down Sessions (Chapter 1).

Look for cameos from Drake and Rihanna in the trailer below.

Jhené Aiko Performs Acoustic Version of ‘To Love & Die’

As she prepares to hit the road, Jhené Aiko has shared some footage from her rehearsals. Joined by her guitarist Jeff, the L.A. songstress performs an acoustic rendition of her Cocaine 80s-assisted single “To Love & Die” as well as her Sail Out cuts “Stay Ready (What a Life)” and “The Worst.”

Jhené will join The Weeknd on his four-city “King of the Fall” tour, which kicks off September 19 at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.

Prior to the tour launch, she will release her full-length debut Souled Out. Just last week, she dropped her new single “The Pressure.”

Drake and Lil Wayne Prepare for Battle in Tour Trailer

Drake Vs. Lil Wayne

Drake and Lil Wayne are turning the stage into a battlefield on their upcoming “Drake Vs. Lil Wayne” tour. In a trailer created by Capcom, the YMCMB warriors transform into animated video game characters Sage (Weezy) and Protégé (Drizzy) as they face off in an “epic tournament.”

Their 31-city battle royale kicks off August 8 in Buffalo, New York, and will touch down in Chicago, Atlanta, San Francisco, Houston, Dallas, and L.A.

“Since, thank God we’ve been so successful, [we'll just be] going back and forth with our hits and getting the crowd to go crazy, then just finally hittin’ the stage together,” Wayne told MTV News. “It’s a battle type thing.”

Video: Ice Cube f/ 2 Chainz & Redfoo – ‘Drop Girl’

After shaking up the box office with his No. 1 blockbusters Ride Along and 22 Jump Street, Ice Cube returns to the mic with his new single “Drop Girl” featuring 2 Chainz and Redfoo. The former N.W.A. member trades his gangsta rhymes for a booty-shaking banger.

“If I hit the switch, I can make the ass drop,” declares Cube.

Directed by Will Kendrick, the special effects clip stars Cube and his cohorts as employees of Booty Drop Enterprises. They don lab coats while studying their twerking subjects.

On October 21, Cube will release his 10th solo album Everythang’s Corrupt on Lench Mob Records/Caroline. He has been gearing up with tracks including “The Big Show,” “Sic Them Youngings on ‘Em,” and “Sasquatch.”

It’s just another typical day on the block until all hell breaks loose in the video for YG’s “Bicken Back Being Bool,” the DJ Mustard-produced cut off his debut My Krazy Life.

Decked out in their Bloods gang attire, the Bompton rapper and his homies kick back and sip 40s in their front yard until shots ring out. They scatter and the cops eventually come calling.

The Alex Nazari-directed clip also features a cameo from Ty Dolla $ign.

With her single “2 On” burning up the airwaves, Tinashe paid a visit to “The Wendy Williams Show” on Monday. Wearing an oversized Hood by Air jersey and Jordans, the L.A. singer served up a hot performance of her DJ Mustard-produced hit, which is No. 1 on Rhythmic Radio.

“Wow, this is a dream come true!!!” tweeted Tinashe.

Her debut album Aquarius is due in September featuring Future and A$AP Rocky.
