Nas Performs with Q-Tip and The Roots on ‘The Tonight Show’

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of his seminal debut Illmatic, Nas stopped by “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Monday. With some help from Q-Tip and The Roots, the hip-hop icon delivered his ’90s classic “One Love.”

They kept the jam session going after the show, performing “The World Is Yours” as a web exclusive.

If you’re at Coachella this weekend, you can catch Nas performing Illmatic in its entirety.

His anniversary compilation Illmatic XX, which features rare remixes, unreleased demos, and freestyles, arrives April 15.

Pharrell Williams Gets ‘Happy’ on ‘GMA’

Fresh off his “SNL” performance, Pharrell Williams kicked off the week with a visit to “Good Morning America.”

Dressed in his BBC varsity jacket, Vivienne Westwood hat, and Swarovski-studded adidas Stan Smiths, the 41-year-old superstar helped liven up New York City by performing his infectious hit “Happy” atop a building in the middle of Times Square.

He also warmed up the studio with “Marilyn Monroe” and “Come Get It Bae” off his latest album G I R L, which is No. 5 on the Billboard 200 this week.

Plus, he took questions from viewers, revealing what makes him happy and what inspires him.

“I’m just very appreciative,” said the humble hitmaker. “I get to do what I love every day.”

Oprah will sit down with Mr. Happy himself on OWN’s “Oprah Prime” on Sunday at 9 p.m.

Pharrell Williams Performs on ‘SNL’

After celebrating his 41st birthday on Friday, Pharrell Williams kept the party going during his visit to “Saturday Night Live.”

Rocking his green Vivienne Westwood hat and adidas G I R L track jacket, The Neptunes hitmaker brought some cheer to Studio 8H while performing the No. 1 single in the country, “Happy,” backed by a troupe of young dancers.

For his second set of the evening, “The Voice” coach performed his new G I R L single “Marilyn Monroe” for the first time, with some help from composer Hans Zimmer and a string orchestra.

T.I. Tackles Parenting, DeSean Jackson Controversy on ‘Arsenio’

Fresh off the fourth season premiere of VH1′s “T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle,” T.I. returned to “Arsenio,” but this time, the conversation was focused on fatherhood.

When asked how he’s dealing with his teenage daughters’ dating life, the father of six responded, “The government got all my guns now. … Prayer and patience.”

The Hustle Gang chief also dished out advice to his fellow parents in the audience and weighed in on DeSean Jackson’s controversial release from the Philadelphia Eagles for alleged gang connections.

“I don’t think he had any control over where he lived,” he said of the NFL star, who signed a $24 million deal with the Washington Redskins. “If he could have lived in Beverly Hills, I think he would back then.”

ScHoolboy Q Performs on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’

ScHoolboy Q shut down Hollywood when he stopped by “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Thursday. Fans lined up around the block to see the TDE rapper rock the outdoor stage with his Oxymoron cuts “What They Want” and “Studio,” on which he was joined by BJ the Chicago Kid. Even his mother came out to see her son do his thing.

“I dnt Neva see my mommy due to rap today was tigHt,” tweeted Q.

He is currently on his headlining tour, which will continue throughout the U.S. this month before traveling to Europe in May.

Lady Gaga Performs ‘Dope’ and ‘G.U.Y.’ on ‘Letterman’

Prior to her fourth of seven shows at New York’s famed Roseland Ballroom, Lady Gaga stopped by “The Late Show with David Letterman” on Wednesday. Rocking big yellow hair, a bikini, and platform heels, the pop superstar posed for a selfie with Bill Murray and Letterman, and invited the audience to her concert.

She was escorted across the street by the gentlemen before hitting the Roseland stage to perform her ARTPOP singles “Dope” and “G.U.Y.”

Backstage, she was joined by well wishers including Martha Stewart. “And um this happened today. Who knows why. She had deviled eggs and sequined crop pants,” tweeted Gaga.

All her Little Monsters will be able to watch a live stream of her April 7 Roseland performance, the final show before the historic venue closes its doors once and for all.

August Alsina Performs on ‘Arsenio’

The ladies were in the house when August Alsina made his late-night debut on Tuesday’s “Arsenio.” But it took a lot of hard work and perseverance‎ to get there. The self-made singer shared his remarkable story, coming from the streets of New Orleans, to making his dreams a reality.

“It’s a blessing to be here ’cause I knew where I came from,” said August, who was once homeless.

He also hit the stage to perform a medley of “Make It Home” and “I Luv This Shit” off his full-length debut Testimony, which arrives April 15 featuring Rick Ross, Pusha T, and Fabolous.
