Video: Gwen Stefani – ‘Baby Don’t Lie’

Gwen Stefani

A day after dropping her comeback record “Baby Don’t Lie,” her first solo track since 2006, Gwen Stefani steps into a trippy world in the colorful and grainy video, directed by Sophie Muller, who’s helmed many of Gwen and No Doubt’s videos.

The blonde bombshell shows off her effortless style as she walks alongside some animated creatures and dances in the streets with her girls, while rocking her pink Beats and Pumas.

The song, produced by Benny Blanco, Ryan Tedder, and Noel Zancanella, is not entirely autobiographical. “You know, parts of it are and parts of it are pulling from the past,” said Gwen, who is married to Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale.

In between tapings for “The Voice,” she hopes to release her third solo album in December and has collaborated with “Hollaback Girl” hitmaker Pharrell on a song called “Spark the Fire.” If that wasn’t enough, the mother of three is simultaneously working on a new No Doubt album.
