Mac Miller and his mama stopped by “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Thursday. The Pittsburgh rapper’s mother read the explicit lyrics to his song “Watching Movies” as part of Kimmel’s “Words From Your Mother” series.

“Hit the strip club, see some hos that I went to school with,” said Mama Miller before turning to her son, who gave her a fist bump in approval.

Big Sean, YG, and T.I.’s mothers have all participated in previous “Words From Your Mother” segments.

Lyrica Anderson Covers DJ Khaled’s ‘Hold You Down’

When she’s not writing hits for Beyoncé (“Jealous”) and Jennifer Hudson (“Walk It Out”), Lyrica Anderson is quickly making a name for herself as a solo artist.

In May, the L.A. singer-songwriter, who was previously signed to Timbaland’s Mosley Music Group, released her ’90s R&B-inspired EP King Me 2 featuring Wiz Khalifa, Ty Dolla $ign, and Kevin Gates.

Now the gifted scribe has given DJ Khaled’s “Hold You Down” a makeover, showing off her sultry vocals and lyrical skills.

Alicia Keys Throws ‘Coming to America’ Birthday Bash for Swizz Beatz

Swizz Beatz celebrated his 36th birthday with a party fit for a king. Alicia Keys surprised her husband with an extravagant bash at Capitale NYC on Thursday night.

She brought Africa to the Big Apple, modeling the evening after Eddie Murphy’s 1988 comedy Coming to America.

The star-studded guest list included Diddy, DMX, Busta Rhymes, Naomi Campbell, A$AP Ferg, Carmelo and La La Anthony, and Swizz’ ex-wife Mashonda.

His royal highness took his seat in a throne on stage surrounded by family, while his pregnant wife made a grand entrance in a white gown, walking across the dance floor to the beat of tribal dancers.

“My party was Epic thx to all my fam & Friends for a timeless moment. I’m still in shock,” said Swizz, who is expecting his second child with Alicia in December.

Breezy’s back. Chris Brown lit up late night with an electrifying performance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Thursday. Backed by The Roots and dressed in all red, the R&B superstar performed the Diplo-produced title track off his upcoming album X and his hit single “Loyal,” wowing with his smooth vocals and fancy footwork.

Due September 16, X features an all-star roster including Kendrick Lamar, Brandy, R. Kelly, Usher, Rick Ross, Jhené Aiko, Trey Songz, Nicki Minaj, and more.

He will celebrate the album release with an appearance on “106 & Park” on Tuesday.

The follow-up to 2011′s Black Friday includes 12 original songs, with appearances from French Montana, Yo Gotti, Cassidy, and Jadakiss.

“I don’t feel the need to change up my style or change the things that I used to rap about,” Kim told REVOLT. “This tape I tried to give a mixture of everything because that’s just who I am.”
