Next week, the “Freaks” will come out when French Montana drops his new single featuring Nicki Minaj. While on set of his video for “Ocho Cinco,” the Bad Boy rapper revealed more details about the scandalous song, which samples a familiar tune from the ’90s.
“We kind of redid the Li’l Vicious and Doug E. Fresh song [‘Freaks’], and it will be top 40—No. 1,” a confident French told Rap-Up TV.
French showered praise on his fellow New Yorker. “She’s the hottest chick to come out, I’m the hottest dude to come out of my city in a long time so I’m proud of everything she’s doing,” he said. “She is one of the best to do it as a female artist, nothing but respect for her.”
“Freaks,” produced by Rico Love, is set to appear on French’s Bad Boy debut Excuse My French, which drops April 16.
