Pharrell toasted the launch of his latest venture, a vodka-based, lactose-friendly cream liqueur called Qream, with an extravagant affair at a mansion in Beverly Hills last night. The Renaissance Man explained how the ice cream-flavored beverage was created with the ladies in mind, and why he decided to do it despite the fact that he doesn’t drink much himself.
“I looked at the market, I looked at the holes out there and it felt like indulgence and women were the two things that were being neglected,” he told Rap-Up TV. “So what I decided to do was design a drink that made sense for women that everybody could enjoy, but women knew it was for them.”
He also chatted about working with Odd Future’s Tyler, the Creator on Pusha T’s record “Trouble on My Mind” and confirmed that he and Frank Ocean were collaborating. “[Tyler has] paid me a lot of incredible compliments and I admire his work, so we went in the studio and made a couple of songs,” said P.
