Honey-Glazed Hen

1 Cornish hen
5 tablespoons of lemon juice
7 tablespoons of honey

• Mix lemon juice and honey in a bowl.
• Cover hen with poultry seasoning.
• Place hen in bowl to marinate.
• Put hen in baking pan and place in oven.
• As it cooks, baste with juices.
• Cook for one hour until tender.

Turkey Wings

2 turkey wings
1 onion
1 green bell pepper
1 celery stalk
sage leaves
chicken bouillon

• Finely chop onion, bell pepper, and celery.
• Season turkey wings with poultry seasoning, chicken bouillon, and salt and pepper.
• Place in baking pan with vegetables and sage leaves.
• Bake at 350ºF for two and a half hours until tender.


2 1/2 cups of cornmeal
2 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder
1/2 tablespoon of sugar
1/2 can of evaporated milk
1/2 cup of water
2 eggs
4 tablespoons of canola oil

• Pre-heat oven to 400ºF.
• Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.
• Pour into pan and bake for 25 minutes until golden.


1 box of Stove Top stuffing (chicken flavor)
1/2 cup of onion
1/2 cup of celery
1/2 cup of green bell pepper

• Finely chop onions, bell peppers, and celery and add crumbled cornbread.
• Season with sage and red pepper.
• Add Stove Top stuffing and juice from turkey wings.
• Shred turkey meat and add to mixture.
• Transfer to pan and bake at 350ºF for two hours until golden.
