Monopoly Gets Remixed with Here & Now
America’s favorite board game has been remixed for 2006. Get your real estate tycoon on with MONOPOLY: Here & Now Edition as you scoop up updated properties including NYC’s Times Square, Fenway ballpark, The Strip in Las Vegas, the White House, Disney World, and Wrigley’s Field. Beyond the new property landmarks, the game includes contemporary game-mover tokens. In a nod to the 21st Century, the classic race car has been replaced with a hybrid Toyota Prius, the old shoe has been given the boot in favor of a New Balance running shoe, and the hip labradoodle takes the place of the Scottish terrier.
