The American Music Awards went down tonight. The show was pretty good overall. The nominees and winners were predictable, but they packed the show with performances. Many of them were hip-hop and R&B artists. Beyoncé opened with “Irreplaceable” (video above). Click below to view performances from Jay-Z, Gwen Stefani, Mary J. Blige, Nelly Furtado, and the Pussycat Dolls. I was looking forward to Jay, but I think Gwen had the best performance of the night. Anyone catch one of the PCD girls knocking over her chair during their performance of “Buttons”?

Jay-Z – “Show Me What You Got”

Gwen Stefani – “Wind It Up”

Mary J. Blige – “We Ride (I See The Future)”

Nelly Furtado – “Say It Right”

Pussycat Dolls – “Buttons”
