Beyoncé Leads BET Awards with 6 Nominations

With 6 nominations, Beyoncé leads the list of nominees for the 2007 BET Awards. The nominations were announced today by T.I., 50 Cent, Robin Thicke, and “Everybody Loves Chris” cast member Tichina Arnold. Mo’Nique is back as host and T.I. and 50 Cent will perform. Earning three nods each are Jennifer Hudson, Ciara, Akon, and Gnarls Barkley. Among those netting two nominations are Thicke, the late Gerald Levert, Ludacris, Diddy, Ne-Yo, and Mary J. Blige. Lifetime achievement awards will go to Diana Ross and actor Don Cheadle. This year’s ceremony will be televised live June 26 from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
