Dr. Dre's Final Album Detox Coming in 2008

The Los Angeles Times scored an exclusive interview with Dr. Dre for a story that appears in the newspaper’s Sunday edition. Dre tells pop music critic Robert Hilburn that the long-awaited Detox will be his final solo album and that the release date has been pushed back to 2008. He’s two or three tracks away from calling it finished.

“I was really hoping to have it out this year, but it’s going to have to be pushed back a while because of some other things I’ve got to work on,” he said. In the meantime, Dre is devoting his time to work on Eminem’s new album.
