MC Lyte, Russell Simmons, and TLC’s Chili announced the recipient of a $10,000 grant at TAG Records’ Make History National Grant Program held at Clark Atlanta University on Friday.


Pharrell and Common rehearsed for the 2008 BET Hip-Hop Awards. The two will perform a track off Common’s new album Universal Mind Control.


Nas also hit the stage for the award show rehearsals.
