Children's Holiday Bowl Charity Event
Akon’s Konfidence Foundation and Holly Robinson Peete’s HollyRod4Kids Foundation joined forces to host the 2008 Children’s Holiday Bowl on Sunday. The charity event took place at downtown Los Angeles’ newest hotspot, Lucky Strike Lanes & Lounge at L.A. Live.
The place was swarming with children of celebs, who were enjoying not only the bowling, but also the finger foods, face painting, balloon making, and cotton candy. Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon came out to support with her twin boys, along with Keisha Epps (wife of Omar Epps) and her daughter K’mari, who was practically attached at the hip with playmate Sy’rai, Brandy’s daughter.
Model/actress Eva Marcille shared a lane with her boyfriend, actor Lance Gross, along with Akon and friends. Akon will grant some Christmas wishes when he personally delivers the donated toys to South Central L.A.’s Youth Center, A Place Called Home.
