Teairra Mari

Teairra Mari has recruited 50 Cent’s latest archnemesis, Rick Ross, for her sophomore album.

The former Princess of the Roc recorded the track with Ross at DJ Khaled’s studio in Miami. The Runners, known for their work with Young Jeezy and Fat Joe, produced the joint.

“It’s all in the family,” Teairra told staging-rapup.kinsta.cloud about working with her Florida-based collaborators. “They all run together, so it’s beautiful!”

The R&B songstress will release her second album At That Point in April and she’s hoping to see her name among the Grammy nominees next year. The category she wants to win most? “Best New Artist, definitely.”
