Eve

E-V-E is back on her B.S., cooking up some heat with Swizz Beatz for her oft-delayed fourth album.

staging-rapup.kinsta.cloud has obtained an exclusive clip of “I’m the Shit,” one of the new tracks she’s recorded with her longtime friend and producer. While the audio quality is poor, you can still make out some of the lyrics and hear the direction she’s going in with dancefloor-ready bangers like “Tambourine.”

“Eve, I’m back on my bullshit, came back with a full clip, who wa wa wa wa wa, who wan’ flip,” she raps over the Swizzy beat.

The 30-year-old entertainer was originally supposed to release her album Here I Am in 2007, but after several delays, the project was shelved. She is now reworking the record under the title Flirt and will drop it later this year on Geffen Records.

“I had to get in there and put in some upbeat music that I wasn’t depressed about,” Eve tells the New York Post’s PopWrap blog of the long-delayed tracks. “It’s fun, it’s sexy, it’s totally me. Imagine if ‘Tambourine’ had kids—that’s what the CD sounds like.”
