Album Cover: Rihanna - 'Rated R'

Rihanna goes to the dark side once again on the grainy black-and-white cover of her fourth album Rated R shot by famed photographer Ellen von Unwerth. The set, arriving November 23, features the single “Russian Roulette” with contributions from Tricky Stewart and The-Dream, Ne-Yo, Justin Timberlake, Stargate, and Chase & Status.

“Rihanna was looking to create something a bit new for the look of the album,” von Unwerth told PopEater. “[She’s] so beautiful, sweet, and tough at the same time—and a pleasure to shoot.”
