Over a decade after his debut, Ja Rule returns to recapture his glory days with “The Life,” the first release from VvV 2010, the sequel to 1999’s Venni Vetti Vecci, due this summer. Rule sticks to what he does best, making an uptempo, radio-friendly record about fine women, crushed linen, and fast cars.
