DJ Skee launched his first of many live Skeetox shows at Vanguard Hollywood on Friday (April 2), playing 70 songs in 90 minutes with a live band, and bringing out special guests Mike Posner, Cisco Adler, and Ya Boy, along with Snoop Dogg and Xzibit, who helped close the show with “Bitch Please.”

Skee told staging-rapup.kinsta.cloud about the inspiration behind the production, which he hopes will take DJing to the next level. “Being a DJ, I just kinda got over doing the traditional going-to-the-club thing,” he said. “Instead of just playing along with tracks or playing songs that we created, I’m taking all the a cappellas and putting them with our amazing live band, and from there we’re playing all the tracks underneath them live remixed.”
