Jay-Z and Alicia Keys gave New York City its own anthem last year with “Empire State of Mind.” Now Katy Perry drops an ode to the Golden Coast with her summer heater “California Gurls.” The Santa Barbara native sips gin and juice with Snoop Dogg and cruises with the top down on the first single from her new album, due later this summer.
