What made this week’s G.O.O.D. Friday better than all other days? Kanye West made a pit stop at the 3.1 Phillip Lim Spring 2011 fashion show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and participated in Fashion’s Night Out festivities.
Hours before releasing his new jam “G.O.O.D. Friday,” ‘Ye took to his Twitter account to share his excitement about the evening. “Can I get a Rock Star pass to rock sunglasses tonight… I promise I can see! Pharrell at BBC 20 minutes!!!!!!!!!!! wuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut!” he tweeted.
And why not make a few lady friends while soaking up the couture? “Man these is all future wifey types yo!!!!” he exclaimed.
Though he couldn’t help but attract a crowd in the NYC streets, Yeezy ended up having what he claims was the best night of his life—so far. “Just shut Soho down… shit is crazy 2nt!!!” he wrote. “This is the best night of my life uuuum so far …I know the city getting ready!!! It ain’t even got dark yet but I never want this night to end!!!!!!!”
