2010 MTV Video Music Awards: Show
Lady Gaga was crowned queen of the night at the 2010 MTV VMAs. The pop superstar picked up eight awards, including Video of the Year for “Bad Romance,” and changed several times throughout Sunday’s show, including an outfit made out of raw meat. Upon receiving the evening’s biggest award from Cher, she announced that her next album would be titled Born This Way.
Two-time winner Eminem was joined by surprise guest Rihanna for the opener, Rick Ross scooped up host Chelsea Handler in a motorized scooter, Nicki Minaj was paired with fellow bad girl Katy Perry to present Best Male Video, Justin Bieber picked up his first Moonman for Best New Artist, Taylor Swift addressed the Kanye West debacle in song, Drake brought out Mary J. Blige and Swizz Beatz for “Fancy,” and Kanye toasted the douchebags with his new song “Runaway” featuring Pusha T.
