Lil’ Kim graced Harlem last night for the grand opening of high-end boutique La Scala NYC. The Queen Bee let her curly black hair down, stepping out in a leather coat over a Dsquared2 floral print dress and mahogany ankle boots. The Brooklyn diva hosted the event with Lil’ B and comedian Paul Mooney, posing for pics with guests, while DJ Jazzy Joyce manned the wheels of steel.
Kim is working on her own clothing line called 24/7-Star: Goddess Collection, set to debut in 2011. “My inspiration is definitely all of my designer friends like Marc Jacobs and Donatello Versace,” she told NBC New York’s Niteside. “Those are my friends. I watched them prepare for shows, and I see [what] they [went] through. I dedicate [my sneak peek] to them.”
