New Music: Nicki Minaj f/ Rihanna - 'Fly'
Nicki Minaj and Rihanna “Fly” above life’s trials and tribulations on their latest collaboration from Nicki Minaj’s debut album Pink Friday, landing November 22. This is their second pairing following “Raining Men” from Rihanna’s Loud.
“I came to win, to fly, to conquer, to thrive/ I came to win, to survive, to prosper, to rise,” sings RiRi over the soaring J.R. Rotem production.
“‘Fly’ is one of my absolute faves. I wanted to work with Rihanna for a long time. I’m very proud of her accomplishments, especially since she was born on an island like me,” said Nicki. “This song is a female empowerment song. But then again, it’s not specific to just women. It speaks about flying, soaring high in the face of every single solitary adversity that comes your way.”
