Beyoncé and Clint Eastwood

Beyoncé may be returning to the big screen, teaming up with Clint Eastwood. The Grammy-winning singer and Oscar-winning director are in negotiations to remake A Star Is Born.

Deadline.com reports that Eastwood would direct while Beyoncé would star in Warner Bros.’ fourth adaptation of the 1937 classic.

Beyoncé would follow in the footsteps of Judy Garland and her idol Barbra Streisand, who played the lead role in the 1976 version of the film about a promising young Hollywood starlet who falls in love with an older actor.

The multi-talented entertainer is no stranger to musicals, having starred in Dreamgirls and Cadillac Records. She was last seen in the 2009 thriller Obsessed.
