Following his nominations for the 42nd NAACP Image Awards, Kanye West continues his hot streak with the announcement of nominees for the 2011 mtvU Woodie Awards, airing live from Austin, Texas, during the South by Southwest Music Festival.

The Chi-town MC is up for Left Field Woodie, honoring the “Most Original” act, with fellow nominees including Die Antwoord, Lil B, Yelawolf, and Das Racist. B.o.B goes head-to-head with Wiz Khalifa, The Black Keys, Arcade Fire, and LCD Soundsystem for Woodie of the Year, while other categories honor Chiddy Bang, Dev, and Gorillaz.

“mtvU is like home to me. This nomination is both an honor and a pleasure,” stated B.o.B of his nod.

The event, which encourages college students to voice their opinions, airs on March 16. Fans can vote online beginning today.
