Lady Gaga made her runway debut at the Thierry Mugler fashion show, which took place during Paris Fashion Week earlier today. Models showed off the debut womenswear collection by her stylist Nicola Formichetti as “Born This Way” and new tune “Government Hooker” blasted over the loudspeakers.

The eccentric singer was the last of the models to hit the catwalk, wearing a giant floppy hat over two ponytails that stretched past her hips. Gaga vogued through makeshift columns in towering platform heels, a see-through top, and form-fitting white skirt. She appeared again at the end of the show with the designers, who planted kisses on her cheeks.

Little monsters across the world got to witness the action through a livestream, soaking up the electronic sounds of “Government Hooker,” where she sassily speaks in a monotone voice. “I’m gonna drink my tears tonight/ I’m gonna drink my tears and cry/ ‘Cause I know you love me baby/ I know you love me baby/ Put your hands on me, John F. Kennedy/ I’ll make you squeal baby,” she deadpans.

Gaga spoke about the song off her new album Born This Way in an interview with Ryan Seacrest. “‘Government Hooker’ has got this just really, really forward beat,” she shared. “It’s actually more of a hip-hop beat, but we ended up double timing the beat. It’s just this super fast, really hard record. The lyrics are really filthy. It’s also empowering, but it’s a little more in the direction of sexual female empowerment.”
