Over a clanging beat, the Universal Motown signee weaves childhood lullabies into a sassy kiss-off to a dude trying to catch her attention.
“You didn’t have the time, now you lookin’ like you’re thirsty/ Now you want to wear me out like your favorite jersey/ So row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream/ I ain’t tryna hear that, ’cause it won’t be me,” she sings.
