New Music: Chris Brown - 'Treading Water'

  /  04.10.2011

Chris Brown

His most recent release F.A.M.E. may have just hit stores, but Chris Brown already has his sights set on Fortune. “Treading Water,” an unfinished cut from his follow-up album due later this year, has leaked. With a piano and acoustic guitar-driven beat, the sensitive tune sees Breezy trying to cheer his girl up by promising he’ll always be by her side.

“When it rains on your face, tell me where do the tears end up/ Don’t want to drown in the rivers of your sorrow/ And I, I will swim a thousand miles just for one minute to see your smile,” he sings.
