Bono and Jay-Z

U2 and Jay-Z bring back a treat from their 2010 tour Down Under with a live rendition of the band’s 1983 single “Sunday Bloody Sunday” featuring a new verse from Hov. The remix, included on the limited edition U2:DUALS album, touts Bono’s soaring vocals and The Edge’s spidery guitar riffs, with the Brooklyn MC adding his hip-hop touch.

“Straight out the projects, cussin’ on records as a peaceful protest/ Can’t be impressed, turn on the radio/ You’re tuned into me,” spits Jay, ending his verse with an interpolation of Bob Marley’s “Get Up, Stand Up.”
