Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, & Rick Ross Heat Up Hot 97 Summer Jam

Rick Ross’ sweat-covered belly, Lil Wayne’s cameo-filled set, and Chris Brown’s raunchy lap dance. These were just a few of the highlights as hip-hop’s heavyweights descended upon New Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, for Hot 97’s annual Summer Jam. And as with all Summer Jams, there were plenty of surprises.

Wiz Khalifa blazed the stage first followed by Waka Flocka Flame. Fabolous sported a bow tie while killing it with mixtape material and Lloyd Banks got a hand from Jeremih, Lloyd, Mobb Deep, Swizz Beatz, and Ryan Leslie during his star-studded set. Additionally, Dipset’s Cam’ron, Juelz Santana, and Jim Jones were embraced by their hometown fans as they delivered their New York anthems.

As the night’s R&B headliner, a shirtless Chris Brown seduced the ladies with his fancy footwork and sexy jams including “Take You Down” and “No B.S.,” bringing out Busta Rhymes for the crowd pleaser “Look at Me Now.”

Lil Wayne invited concertgoers into his world, with his YMCMB family members Drake, Birdman, and Shanell joining him for “BedRock,” “Miss Me,” and “I’m on One” with Rick Ross. The Maybach Music Group chief closed out the evening with a larger-than-life set, performing the street anthems “MC Hammer,” “B.M.F. (Blowin’ Money Fast),” and “Tupac Back” with Meek Mill. Diddy stood alongside the Teflon Don for the “O Let’s Do It (Remix),” ending on a high note with the triumphant “All I Do Is Win.”
