New Music: Pitbull f/ Kelly Rowland & Jamie Drastik - 'Castle Made of Sand'

  /  06.16.2011

Pitbull and Kelly Rowland

Pitbull may be known for getting the party started, but the Miami rapper gets serious for a moment on “Castle Made of Sand,” the DJ Frank E-produced cut from his new album Planet Pit (June 21). Mr. 305 salutes his mother while acknowledging his father’s absence on the introspective song. Kelly Rowland sings the uplifting hook and Pitbull’s artist Jamie Drastik spits a verse.

“It shows another side of me. But yet it has that big pop rhythmic feel to it,” Pitbull told “I think that when that hits the radio, people are going to look at me in a whole different light.”
