Lil Wayne Channels His Emotions in VMA Promo [Video]

Lil Wayne lets his emotions flow in the latest promo for the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. Tunechi, who will take the stage at Sunday’s show at L.A.’s Nokia Theatre, stands against a black backdrop in a straw hat and camouflage shirt as he raps along to his Carter IV single “John.”
“Emotion is a great inspiration for my music,” explains Wayne. “We all have a billion emotions bottled up inside of us, so I try to find risky at times and catchy ways to get those emotions out.”
And what keeps Weezy going? “I have this crazy drive inside of me that’s never die and never lose. And I breathe that.”
