Karmin

Karmin is making the leap from the computer screen to the silver screen. The Internet sensation has been booked as the musical guest on next month’s episode of “Saturday Night Live.”

The rapping-singing duo, comprised of Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan, will perform on the February 11 episode of the late-night variety show with host Zooey Deschanel, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Their debut album, which they categorize as “swag-pop,” is due this spring on Epic Records. It has already spawned The Runners-produced single “Crash Your Party” and features contributions from Tricky Stewart, Stargate, and Claude Kelly, among others.

Karmin became an overnight sensation after their YouTube covers of Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, and Lil Wayne exploded online.
