Kanye West

Before he was a household name, Kanye West still knew how to command a crowd. A 12-year-old Yeezy is seen reciting a poem in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. in rare footage from 1990. “My name is Kanye West and my poem is, ‘His Name Means Love,'” says Kanye with conviction while introducing himself to the audience. “What this man was fighting for, so blacks, Hispanics, Jews, and Asians could put their foot in the door.” Preach, Yeezy!
