Nicki Minaj Takes Over Times Square with Surprise Performance

The Roman Empire invaded New York’s Times Square on Good Friday to catch a surprise performance from Nicki Minaj. The hometown gal helped Nokia launch its new Lumia 900 smartphone in front of thousands with a three-song set including “Starships,” “Right By My Side,” and “Super Bass.”
Following the mini-concert, she debuted the DJ Doorly remix of “Starships” and announced that a live video was being shot with people in the audience.
