Dawn Richard

“Ya’ll ready to dance?” asked Dawn Richard as she commanded the stage at the House of Blues in West Hollywood on Thursday night on PJ Morton’s tour.

During the 30-minute set, the former Danity Kane member thrilled with cuts off her EP Armor On including “Save Me From U” and “Change,” Dirty Money’s “Ass on the Floor,” and crowd-pleasing covers of Prince’s “I Would Die 4 U” and “Purple Rain.”

She served up her own remixes to Frank Ocean’s “Novacane” and Kanye West and Jay-Z’s “Ni**as in Paris,” closing with her Druski-produced single “Bombs.”
