The elementary school chorus from Public School 22 in Graniteville, Staten Island, tackled the rapper’s ballad “Marilyn Monroe” in celebration of the late icon’s birthday. The group of fifth-graders, who rose to stardom with their YouTube covers of Adele and Lady Gaga, performed the vulnerable Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded cut, with a solo from Denise.
