A$AP Rocky Plays JFK in Lana Del Rey Video
A$AP Rocky is getting on his presidential swag with his latest role. The “Goldie” rapper stars as John F. Kennedy in Lana Del Rey’s new music video.
During an interview with 16bars.tv (via Rolling Stone), Pretty Flacko shared details about the pop starlet’s video for “National Anthem,” in which he plays JFK alongside Rey’s Jackie O.
“It’s some swag shit,” shared the Harlem MC. “I play JFK, she plays Jackie O. It’s some cool trippy shit, some real 2015 shit. People are gonna get it in like three years, and that’s the whole purpose of it.”
A$AP and Rey have also collaborated on “Ridin’,” a track originally recorded for the Kickdrums mixtape Follow the Leaders. He now plans to include it on his upcoming debut Long.Live.A$AP.
“Lana’s right now about like six months pregnant with my son right now, so the Kickdrums, they can’t be having me and my baby moms on the same track on they album,” said A$AP, adding, “I’m just joking. She not pregnant by me. That’s just my homegirl.”
