Somethin 'Bout Kreay

Kreayshawn fans will have to wait a little longer. The Oakland rapper’s debut Somethin ‘Bout Kreay has been pushed back a month.

Previously scheduled for release on August 14, the album will now arrive on September 18. “It’s Somethin’ Bout Kreay…. It’s new release date is Septemeber 18th!!” Kreay informed her Twitter followers.

The delay was not her decision. “I know you guys was so close but, label pushed it back so I can take break dancing lessons,” she joked.

The album features the 2 Chainz-assisted single “Breakfast (Syrup)” and “Go Hard (La.La.La),” with contributions from Kid Cudi, Chippy Nonstop, V-Nasty, Sissy Nobby, Jean Baptiste, and Diplo.

Her fans weren’t the only ones upset by the news. “Yah I thought the album push pack was pretty STOOPID! and I was super mad but… WHAT YA GONNA DO #SOMETHINBOUTKREAYSEPT18,” tweeted the White Girl Mob leader.

Kreayshawn burst onto the scene in 2011 with her ubiquitous single “Gucci Gucci,” which landed her a lucrative contract with Columbia Records.
