Missy Elliott Sets Release Date for New Singles
Missy Elliott has been teasing fans for years, but she’s finally ready to make her comeback. The hip-hop icon will drop her two new singles next week.
Atlantic Records has posted a countdown on Missy’s official website promoting the Timbaland-assisted “9th Inning” and “Triple Threat.” Both songs will premiere on Monday, September 10, at
6 p.m. 7 p.m. EST.
The 41-year-old rapper first debuted the tracks live at a show in New York earlier this year and again over Labor Day weekend in Miami.
Missy has been in the studio working on her first album in over seven years, tentatively titled Block Party.
