Kanye West and Steve Jobs

After deleting all his previous tweets, Kanye West returned to Twitter on Friday to remember Apple founder Steve Jobs on the one-year anniversary of his death.

“WE LOST STEVE A YEAR AGO TODAY,” tweeted Yeezy. “HE IS ONE OF THE MOST INSPIRING AND INFLUENTIAL HUMAN BEINGS OF OUR EXISTENCE ALONG WITH MICHAEL JACKSON, WALT DISNEY, AND DR. KING.”

He expressed his gratitude to the visionary, adding, “LET’S BE THANKFUL FOR HIS LIFE AND RESPECT HIS LEGACY BY NEVER COMPROMISING ON OUR FUTURE.”

Lil Wayne also took time out to remember the man responsible for bringing the world the iPhone and iPad. “RIP Steve Jobs…1 year ago,” he wrote on Facebook.
