Machine Gun Kelly Laces Up 106 & Park'
An exhausted, but excited MGK stopped by “106 & Park” on Wednesday to chat with hosts Bow Wow and Paigion. Fresh off the plane from Cleveland, the “Wild Boy” shared stories from his triumphant homecoming and in-store signing at Best Buy, which drew over a thousand fans.
“It’s the same Best Buy where I used to walk in and they’d be like, ‘Follow him around and make sure he doesn’t steal anything.’ Now we come back and we shut the whole Best Buy down,” said MGK.
His Bad Boy debut Lace Up is expected to sell around 50,000 copies in its first week. “I didn’t really expect this to be an album that comes out and takes over the world in a week,” he explained. “I felt like it was an album that I needed to make sure you could listen back to two years after you’re on the MGK train and be like, ‘Oh, I was missing out.'”
MGK will hit the road with Rick Ross, Meek Mill, and Wale on the “MMG Tour” next month. So what is he looking forward to most? “The after parties,” he said.
