Kelly Rowland is Oscars’ golden girl. The “Kisses Down Low” singer has been invited to host the red carpet pre-show for the 85th Annual Academy Awards.

She made the announcement on Twitter. “Thank you @TheAcademy for inviting me to host the #Oscars Red Carpet show. I can’t wait! Tune in February 24!” tweeted an excited Kelly, who recently changed the title of her upcoming album to Talk a Good Game.

As part of the gig, she will interview the nominees and other A-listers as they walk down the carpet on Oscar Sunday. She will be joined by co-hosts Kristin Chenoweth, “Good Morning America” anchor Lara Spencer, and Entertainment Weekly managing editor Jess Cagle.

Kelly previously acted as a red carpet correspondent for ESPN The Magazine‘s annual NEXT event during Super Bowl weekend in New Orleans.

See Kelly in action when “The Oscars Red Carpet Live!” airs Sunday, February 24, at 7e/4p on ABC.
