Video: Mariah Carey - 'Almost Home'

Mariah Carey has been gracing the TV screen each week on “American Idol,” and now the “Idol” judge lends her voice to the big screen in the video for “Almost Home” from Disney’s Oz the Great and Powerful.

The pop diva looks stunning in black and white as she belts out the Stargate-produced tune in a couture gown. The clean and simple clip is interspersed with footage from the fantasy adventure film, which hits theaters today.

Mariah’s two-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, inspired her to write the song. “I’ve always just loved Disney, and now especially having two little babies—like all we do is watch animated movies, even though they’re so little, they still love them, especially Roc, my little boy,” she told VH1’s “Big Morning Buzz Live.”

Dem Babies have also influenced her upcoming album, due in May. She has been in the lab with hitmakers including Jermaine Dupri, Bryan-Michael Cox, Big Jim Wright, Hit-Boy, The-Dream, and Rodney Jerkins.
